Privacy Policy for Twenty48

Twenty48 is a local-first puzzle game from Carrot Core Creations. The game is designed so you can play without creating an account, logging in to a Carrot Core Creations service, or handing over identifiable personal information.

1. Information Twenty48 Does Not Collect

Twenty48 does not intentionally collect identifiable personal information.

  • No Carrot Core Creations account is required
  • No email address, phone number, contact list, or advertising identifier is requested by the game
  • No ads, third-party analytics SDKs, or data broker tools are used
  • No cross-app tracking or behavioral advertising is used
  • No user profile is created to identify who is playing

2. Local Game Data

Game progress, scores, settings, themes, board state, and preferences are stored locally on your device where possible. Twenty48 does not upload your game board or settings to Carrot Core Creations servers.

If you choose to import a custom background image, the image remains stored locally on your device unless an Apple platform sync feature you use stores it in your private Apple-managed account. Images are not uploaded to Carrot Core Creations servers or shared with third parties by Carrot Core Creations.

3. Apple Watch and iCloud Sync

Twenty48 may sync game state, preferences, customization, or companion app state between your devices, including Apple Watch, using Apple platform sync features such as iCloud key-value storage or device-to-device sync. This is used so your own devices can show consistent game state and settings.

Carrot Core Creations does not receive your Apple ID, iCloud email address, iCloud password, or the contents of your private iCloud account. Apple operates iCloud and related platform sync services and may process synced data according to Apple's own privacy terms and settings.

4. Game Center

Twenty48 may use Apple Game Center for achievements, leaderboards, scores, and possibly friend-related Game Center features. Game Center is operated by Apple. Apple manages the Game Center account and authentication flow.

Carrot Core Creations does not receive your Apple ID password, Apple ID email address, payment details, or a separate account login from Game Center. Depending on the feature used, Twenty48 may receive limited Game Center information needed for gameplay, such as authentication status, display name or alias, scoped player identifiers, achievements, leaderboard scores, and related Game Center gameplay state.

Game Center information is used only to provide Game Center features. It is not used for advertising, cross-app tracking, or building a separate user profile.

5. In-App Purchases

Twenty48 may offer an in-app purchase to unlock the full version of the game. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit.

Carrot Core Creations does not receive your payment card number, billing address, Apple ID password, or Apple ID email address from the purchase. Twenty48 may receive purchase status, transaction, receipt, product, or entitlement information needed to confirm that the purchase was completed, unlock the full version, restore purchases, prevent fraud, support the app, and comply with App Store or legal requirements.

6. Diagnostics and Technical Telemetry

Twenty48 may use Apple MetricKit or similar Apple-provided diagnostic tools to understand crashes, hangs, performance, battery, and reliability issues. Diagnostic information may include generic technical details such as app version, operating system version, device type or model class, crash state, performance measurements, and operation outcomes.

Twenty48 may also record limited technical event information such as app launches, game move outcomes, purchase unlock outcomes, and sync outcomes. This information is used to understand whether the app is working correctly. It is not combined with names, emails, advertising identifiers, or account profiles.

7. Support and Feedback

If you choose to contact support, the support form may include generic app context such as app version, device type, device or system version, whether the request came from the web or app, and the issue or feedback you choose to send.

Support forms may allow optional screenshot or video uploads. Please do not include personal information in support messages, screenshots, or videos. If you choose to include information that can identify you, it will be used only to handle the support request and will not be sold, shared for advertising, or used to profile you.

8. Sensitive Device Permissions

Twenty48 does not request access to contacts, precise location, health data, calendars, microphone, camera, Bluetooth, or similar sensitive device permissions. If future versions add file access or photo picking, access will be limited to content you choose.

9. Sale, Sharing, and Advertising

Twenty48 does not sell personal information, does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and does not use personal information for targeted advertising.

10. Retention

Because Twenty48 is designed not to collect identifiable personal information, there is normally no user record to retain or delete. Technical diagnostics and support submissions are kept only as long as reasonably needed to understand issues, maintain the app, respond to support, or meet legal obligations. Purchase records may be retained by Apple and, where visible to the app, used as needed to maintain purchase entitlement and restore purchases.

11. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when Twenty48's features, support flow, platform tools, or legal requirements change. Any meaningful change will be reflected with a new effective date.

For privacy questions or deletion requests about information you sent through support, use the support form and include only the minimum information needed to understand the request.
